Voice message received. Robocaller saying $299 was being deducted from my PayPal account for a ‘purchase’. Definitely a scam!

EBAY SCAM (Scam call) reported by Anna

Caller said that they were from EBAY. I missed the call then rang it. The guy had an accent and just answered hello then hung up. I called back and he tried to tell me he was from EBAY and I had made a purchase for a giftcard for $300 or so and if I wanted to cancel it and get a refund. Before he could start trying to get account numbers from me I told him off and told him to get a real job and stop scamming people. I then blocked the number

Scam ebay call. I spoke to an indian operator They asked me to install an app that gives them access to my computer. they then wanted my ip address so they could log in. When I didn't give it to them, they upgraded to a "manager" who got angry with me and when I called them out as scammers, they hung up.
