this is a quick charity questionnaire about whether you would be able to support certain charities.It will only take a couple of minutes is that alright.....Is that alright?. I said ok and they hung up.

Unscrupulous Call designed to collect personal info (Scam call) reported by Nick Name

Caller explained purpose of call. Caller advised they were collecting info on behalf of Charities. Caller mentioned Charities would contact me in the future. I advised I did NOT want Charities calling me. This is what I would consider a TRAP for unwary players. I have worked in the NOT-for-PROFIT Sector for most of my career. If a Charity is using these kinds of TACTICS to contact persons I would NEVER make a Donation to them. They call themselves "Charities". I call them SCAMMERS using Third Parties to "set persons up" for probable future fall. Caller mentioned I could OPT-OUT in future. I've got a few ideas how the Caller's business make money given OPT-OUT Option. Best way to OPT-OUT is hang up phone before you get "SUCKED IN".
