Claimed he was ringing about my electricity. I stopped him and said I didn't want to waste his time. He refused to take no for an answer so my husband took the phone and told him not to call me again. When hubby handed the phone back to me the guy was spewing insults and saying it was not his fault my husband can't satisfy me and explaining how he could do so better. He then called my husband an a**e*ole and hung up.

Knew my name and address. Claimed to know I always paid my Electricity bill on time but pay on time discounts no longer apply. Said I could get a better deal with a pay on time discount. Told them not interested multiple times after he would not answer if he was calling on behalf of my current provider. Had to hang up to get rid of him.

They tried to say I was entitled to reduced electricity rate due to changes from the Australian government. They tried to get me to confirm my name and address so that they could say what discount would get. I would not confirm. I asked based on the address they were quoting what rate would they offer me. They would not tell me. Eventually they said that I appeared like a smart person. They said that I was wasting their time and they were wasting my time. They hung up.
