The female caller implied that she was my current provider and was offering me a discount on my mobile service as I was a very good customer. She confirmed my mobile number, which she obviously had as she called me, and then wanted to confirm that I topped up my account with a monthly payment of $30 or $40. As soon as she said this and as I pay my set monthly account I advised her that I knew she was not with my current provider and if she was she would have the correct information. I then asked her what company she was calling from and she hung up.

Very rude and pushy (Telemarketer) reported by Shams

Caller tried to get through to a member of our IT team, he tried the usual, talk fast and throw in some technical terms routine, when I asked for the most basic of information, like his name, the company and what he was calling about he became hostile and was very rude. When I eventually got the gist of what he was calling about I knew instantly that we weren't going to be interested in his service (we get about 20 of these calls a day) I politely told him we weren't interested, that I didn't want to waste his time and told him not to call back. 5 minutes later he called back, and told me I'd asked him to call again, when I said I had told him to not call, he tried to argue with me, after about a minute I just terminated the call.
