I received a call from a middle aged Australian male claiming to be from the australian conservation foundation he asked if I would like to help support the protests against Adani. He asked me questions like "what did you know about adani?". He wanted my credit card details and was asking for a $40 a month donation. When I said I had no money or job he said he could delay withdrawals until January, even though earlier he had said there was a deadline.. Everytime I said I would have to think about it or I couldn't commit to anything he would keep lowering the amount and became more and more pushy. When I asked what organisation he was employed by he sounded frustrated. Overall we spoke for 10 minutes and it was very stressful, I never gave him any details and insist no one else does. Donate directly to the acf website only or become a volunteer with your local conservation foundation.
