NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW RFS calling to ask for donations. They have done in this past to ask for help. Not a scam. you can ask them to send a letter for the payment instead of paying over the phone.

Scam Caller - False Motel (Call centre) reported by Mark

Called me yesterday, missed it. Rang them back straight away, arrogant and inpaitent guy answered, told him I missed the call and was returning the call. Said they didn't call me at all and that I didn't miss them ringing me at all, despite the Telstra voicemail service and missed call text stating their exact number and time they called. Told me they are a motel down in Melbourne, I asked what motel, stated "Doesn't matter which one" and that their phoneline was "cut". if it was cut, how come THEY called me, and I could call them back? Guy rudely stated "Let me tell you again" before repeating they are a motel in Melbourne, and their number is disconnected, before telling me off and hanging up on me, Called them back straight away to try and resolve the issue, stating I only wanted to call back cause they called me to figure out why. This time a women answered, same bull "Hello, motel reception". Seems to be a no named motel that has a completely disconnected number, despite making and receiving calls still. Highly suspicious.

I have had this number call me twice this month. I answer the call and say hello only for the call to disconnect. Nuisance caller and now have blocked them.
