Company name is First Advantage. They do background employment checks when people go for a loan, rental, etc. Haven’t been able to get through when calling back, but I have a lot of employees and answer these sort of calls regularly. It sounds legit.

hard to understand the person as they did not speak english very well, had to ask numerous times to repeat what was asked as the question/statement didn't make sense, i think they are a recruitment firm confirming employment status??

An american accented person wanting to speak with HR for a background check. Left a return number and when the number was called it was an american menu for background checks asking for extension numbers. Couldn't speak with someone.
