i book theatre tickets or a hotel room that doesnt give the people i give my phone number the right to sell it on. sick to death of getting stupid pain in the butt calls from * who cant even be polite and go away when asked to.

Apologies if you're unable to do this with your phone or via your phone company, but after establishing that a phone no. is from a nuisance caller, I block the it. If you have an iphone, the option is under the Recent Calls phone no. info. Or take "hello fresh"s advice, call them back & chose the option to take your own phone no. off their list. Complaining feels good, but taking action feels even better.
