You can't bring the police into it ! They're busy fighting real crime !!! don't waste their time. Either yell f@#k off down the line, don't answer it or when you do, blow a very loud whistle in their ear - they won't ring back in a hurry then !

I have been ignoring any phone number I don't know and waiting for caller to leave a message if they are genuine. However, not everyone likes leaving messages and it can be annoying and time consuming. Why can't the subscriber of these numbers be followed up and prevented from ever having a landline in Australia? No point in blocking them because of the multiple numbers. Optus and Vodafone have both recommended the police be brought into this.
