An Indian male called numerous times claiming to be from the Queensland Development Opportunists (or something similar) asking if we have found a new office space or still looking. Each time I say unaware of this and he hangs up straight away.

Unable to hear the Indian sounding lady clearly as she sounded like she was in a wind storm. She was pleasant when i asked her to repeat where she was calling from and what she was requesting. Claiming to be from The Western Australian Business Development office or something (couldn't hear the last bit). Apparently doing their annual calls to small businesses to see if we are STILL looking for office space. I said no and haven't for years. How would they know if we were and then she claimed that it was a Governmental request that they ring annually to ask this question to small businesses. WHAT???? Thankfully she was polite and she wished us all the best. We tend to get many callers like this but they give spoofing their numbers.

Man called Michael will call and ask if you have found business premises and then when we say we have been in our office for 3 years, he hangs up. He now calls sometimes several times per day and when you tell him he's called he gets angry and hangs up, Very rude, even when you tell him to take our number off the list he hangs up and calls again.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 02807341xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it? I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for call centres). No problems.
