The guy on the phone said he is from Solar Solutions and asked if I am aware of solar rebates from the government. He wanted to know my electricity bill and want to send someone to my place. I hung up and called back but the number was not ringing

Caller said they were calling regarding solar rebates and then wanted to ask me details of my electricity. they asked for MR (my name) and I said its actually MRS i said this is an unsolicited call and that I am on the DO NOT CALL register. caller advised that he had all of my information and I know your address (rattled off my address) and i said - NO i did not call to enquire, I did not submit an online query, I do not subscribe to your services so this is an unsolicited call. when asked three times what company he was calling from he finally said SOLAR POWER PROVIDERS OLYMPIC PARK

Why does a company located in Singapore have an Australian country code (+61) at the beginning. Stop trying to scam people. It doesn’t work on me, all it does is * me off when I’m trying to relax after a hard days work (something you should try)!!!
