Offering a free phone from Vodafone but didn't even know that my contract doesn't end for many months. Then asked for my pin code to check how long I have left on my plan (they already have my mobile number so thats all they need to get into my online account). Probably scam. My phone came up with Sydney but it sounded like it was from India.

Vodafone identity given by caller. A persistent caller for weeks on end. Intrusion of privacy and invasive of my personal space having to answer telemarketing calls. Shame on vodafone.

This specific one is supposedly vodafone, but really they seem to be a general call centre from india either trying different scams, or represeting a host of australian outfits. For me it started just after christmas, I now get multple sydney-based calls per daythat are really an Indian call centre telemarket/fishing. The more I've gotten, the more I've realised they're probably related. Fortunately I don't live in sydney or have any ties to it, so I'm just gonna start screening all 02 calls... they're probably from this group anyway!

Got a call from a guy from Vodafone who started a sales pitch, but his Indian accent meant I didn't understand a word of it. I asked him what he was talking about. He said, do you want a free iPhone, I said No, I don't like iPhones. He then hung up on me.

Just got a call from a certain Alex at Vodafone from this number asking if I am with Vodafone and for my four digit pin, because they've got some pretty good deals for me... The guy had an Indian accent and was mumbling. Asked him why would I give him my four digit pin?! Then told him I have not time for this and hung up. They tried to call again, but I dismissed the call. What do these people think???!!!

Received a call from this number and said they were from Vodafone. When through a sales spiel about a new free phone and data plan etc. Asked what phone I am using, told them, asked more info about my plan. I said well if you are with Vodafone you should be able to look up my plan. He replied with I don't have your Pin??? I asked where he got my number from and replied with public phone listing..,,, questioned if he worked for Vodafone and hung up on me Scammer
