Scammers trying to sell a course (Telemarketer) reported by Brain Jones
These people put fake job advertisements online so people can apply to them and get their details. Then they ring them and try to sell them to do a course and the courses can cost over $1000 - they are all a rip off, you can do these cheaper at Tafe or at college. If you are on Newstart you can do courses for free so don't do these courses. These people are rip off merchants and they just want your money. Don't give them any details.

I couldn't find any info for this specific number - strange, I can see more people searching for it on similar pages, did someone answer it and spoke with a real person? I have also seen more similar numbers being searched with last 2 or 3 digits different so I assume this should some call centre. Who is it? Does someone have some more info for this range of numbers - 0280767xxx ?

I got a call from this number and did answer it. It was regarding something called OneShift where i'd applied for jobs or something. They called me and spoke about a certificate 3 i'd done, and offered me an online diploma course. It is from Careers Australia - I spoke to a man named David... and he is from OneShift... on that number. Sounds legit, but I wasn't keen on giving my Tax File Number to him over the phone.
