Called saying they were from DM something and that I'd been chosen for a FREE new smart phone with 50 customer discount. I asked them how much it would really cost me and what personal information they needed and they hung up! RUDE!

Tablet, 50% discount, $299 (Telemarketer) reported by Grace
A women called me this morning but I didn'n understand English. A man call me this afternoon and he handed the phone to the manager. They said I got 50% discount of a tablet which is Riin S27, its price is $600 but I can only pay $299 by card. They asked me my Name, date of birth and address. I asked them to sent me a message or an email but they said that they could not. the manager give me the phone number 0282921102 and the name of the company Aussie Star Biz. they said the give me 50% discount to promote the company but I thought that was a scam.

Jake rang said my phone number had won offer of OpusS27 tablet at $299 which he claimed was 50% discount. Said he worked for AussieTab.There is no ABN in this name. He said he couldnt give return number (in N.T.) because he had just started working there. He put me on to 'manager' Michelle who couldnt give number. She put me on to 'manager' Linda who gave this number 0282921102 which does not answer. She said the top manager is Michael D. I am wary of these offers which have in the past targetted Aboriginal communities (which I live in) and signed vulnerable/unsuspecting people up to shonky hire purchase deals.

I received a call from them yesterday. She ('Linda') was rude and told me not to waste her time just because I said I wasn't interested. Then she had the nerve to call back today so I decided to put the effort into pulling her leg for a bit. Finally after giving false information and convincing her I would call back with my financial details she gave me this phone number and redirected me to their dodgy Facebook Page (Oz Tab Biz). I was finally able to get through to this number just to pi.. them around for a little longer. Now to report to scamwatch ????

I got Called from a private number and they offered the same thing and they asked for my name and then my date of birth I told them I don't give My date of birth over the phone and I asked them to give me their number and they Hung up they even said if I can't afford it I could pay in installments losers.
