Received a shady email from The University of Sydney requesting for warehousing and storage. After looking up the phone number I came to this website. Also checked the e-mail address, the email domain was a little bit different than the emails domains listed on the official website of the University. Decided to give them a call, answers were really weird so I deciced to confront them. Person on the phone suddenly became very verbally agressive and hung up the phone. DEFINITE SCAM!

A "different" type of scam, but basically another attempt to get money from you. Amazingly my guy quoted a refund of $6,325 - appears they are working off the same script.

This morning i had a call from an anonymous number and been told that i've been overcharged $6325. They provided me this number to call back for confirmation but i googled the given number and found it was fake. Be aware guys never share your personal details such as your name and DOB either..Then You will receive a call later on from someone else with a different fake strategy by using your provided details.. Be aware guys..

Indian woman called Told me i was in the demographic for receiving $6300 I STUPIDLY called this number like she told me too and it was all a joke to this 'Paul Edward' I told him I was calling the police!!! MORONS!!!!

Most certainly a scammer with an Indian accent, already had my surname and address , most likely from phone book. Sent details to ACCC Scamwatch ( Aust Gov )

Same as most other comments. Thought scam from the beginning so was wary. Said from government about over charging from my bank. Got a case number and told to phone back. Be careful with the information you give out.

Scam call. First got a call from Suzanne on a private number. Said I'd received $6325.00 from government reclaim. To receive the cheque I had to contact this number and arrange it with 'Paul Edwards' (thick Indian accent). 'Paul' said I first had to pay $520.00 at the post office via Western Union to receive the cheque. When asked for more details 'Paul' hesitated then quickly hung up. I called him later to confront him about the scam and he hung up.

Just received a call saying Australian Federal Govt had been investigating claims over overcharging and that I was entitled to refund of $6325.00 and how would I like payment. Either give them my banking details or have cheque sent... Was already wary so said cheque please which would supposedly have been from Commonwealth Bank..... Was given case I.D no and told to phone Case Manager on 0283171140. Googled the phone no and here I am.... Knew it was bull*hit..............Oh and obviously I never phoned the no given..

Got a call from Aust Govt Reclaim Dept wanting info regarding repaying overcharges from Comm Bank ($6325.00). Had to call supervisor to confirm details on 0283171140. Rang this number & was told i was speaking to Paul Edwards (with a very Indian accent) who told me I would have to go to Post Office and arrange payment of $299.00 as payment for lawyers charges to transfer the payment by cheque to my home address which they already had.

I received a call and they said I would get a refund from the government as the banks have been charging me too much. I rang my bank and together we googled the number they gave me to confirm my refund and YES it's a scam. The major banks have been alerted to this scam now.

Scammers! Beware! Don't give any details. We got told they were from the government reclaim department advising we were due for a refund. They even gave us a number to confirm with a supervisor. All fake. Watch out for these scavengers!!
