A Phone call stating my deceased mother will have a warrant for her arrest unless she takes action through a solicitor or calls the number 02 8317 3285. It is a pity this stupid prick cannot speak english properly as I could hardly understand the message. I would love to grab this prick by the throat and let him know what I think.

My wife woke me up early this morning, alarmed about a message left on our answering machine. I listened to the message. A woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Australian Taxation Office said that there were serious problems and that they were about to launch legal proceedings against me and that I needed to phone them immediately.

Morons called my parents, threatened them with arrest, legal actioned, mentioned $3000, when asked to provide a letter, got abusive. My poor parents got all upset and worried, called me for help. I am so angry at people like that who target elderly!!!!

Fraudsters (Scam call) reported by ATO FAKE
Claiming to be from the ATO Australian taxation office. Will scamm you out of money as they claim there is an arrest warrant out for you. Very angry forcefull style call. If you answer pretend you missed some detail and say "Im sorry madarchod. What was that again?" Listen to them go ape then laugh and hang up. I beleive they make good money. Im praying for the 3rd world country building they work in to colapse on them. * of the earth.

I got an automated message saying to call this number back because I was under investigation for tax evasion and tax fraud and that a warrant was out for my arrest. No details were provided (no mention of my actual name, address, phone number or tax file number) This is a scam to trick people into thinking they have to pay money to avoid being arrested.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck - similar numbers are marked as telemarketing nuisance, car accidents, insurance marketing. Some idea who is it? Blocking this one now - I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
