Same as below...caller's name was James A...had a european-type accent...said he was from the ATO and had received a legal complaint about tax evasion and to call them back before they took the complaint to court and got an arrest warrant. SCAM SCAM!!!

yep, a generic prerecorded call with tax evasion threats. Ignore it.

Same as Kylie. Voicemail left and it sounded like an automated computer speech synthesizer claiming to be the ATO. Threatening legal action over tax evasion. Requested me to call this number back. If you get this call, DO NOT call the number - it is a scam and the call was a random auto-dialler.

I was called by someone called jason O'Connor pretending to be someone from the Australian Taxation office - threatening legal action and police involvement. He left the number (02) 83173527. I have called the Taxation office and they confirmed it must have been a scam caller.
