Woman asked why I hadn’t claimed some tax rebate. Seems to have my name from an email address. Very pushy: “is there some reason you haven’t claimed the rebate?” she asks. Then she asks about my tax status, and says she’s changing my details in some system, and quickly hangs up when I ask more about who she is. Tried calling back and got a “check the number, we can’t connect you” message from Telstra. Very anxious until I found this website. Many thanks!
