A very cheery pommy bloke asked for me by name, then waffled on for 2mins about trading something and saying they're doing exactly what the banks do and offered a possible >%1000 return on investment/day($1600 off $100 invested) He was pushy. I said he was wasting his time as I wasn't going to buy whatever he was selling, he said he was very good at his job, I said I was very stubborn, he said I was his favourite type of customer, I said "Ok, you may be happy to waste your time, but I'm not wasting mine, thanks for the offer", he capitulated, said goodbye and hung up. Maybe not quite a scam(claims they're registered with ASIC), but still dodgey

Personal invitation, confidential, asked for someone I know, Brit (Scam call) reported by D

Man with a British accent called and asked for someone I know. Said they had a personal invitation for them and would call back. Wouldn't answer where from or what organisation, just calling from Sydney. I swore at him and he asked if I'd been offended, I said yes because he wasn't disclosing his identity or the identity of the organisation. I hung up.

Easyclick or something? I get 2 weeks free access, usually costs$1600. I interrupted and asked "with a view to what? Investing in something?" I politely explained I had no money to invest. I then said I didn't ask them to call me and didn't know how they got my number. I wished him a good evening. Even as I was hanging up I heard him asking if I had superannuation! Very intrusive!

Some sort of sales call ('Easy' something?) from a heavily accented man in a noisy environment. Said I was at work so can't talk, he kept talking trying to offer me something. I politely said thanks but I'm not interested and can't talk so he just hung up on me. Nice.
