Female caller (Scam call) reported by Sharron

advised from head office f Centrelink. Stated I had arrears and backpayment of $1400 waiting for me at the nearest centrelink and would be given to me in a cheque by a person named Silvia Johnson. Advised that Centrelink had been trying to contact me via mail and phone. The same number the person called on and is not registered or linked with with Centrelink. However in order to process the back payment I had to pay $200 for processing and was going to be handed back to me when I went into Centrelink and collected the back payment owed to me from Centrelink. Caller identified herself as Michelle and I could return the call on the 0283246528 and speak with her on ext 24. Also asked if I could borrow the $200 from someone else and call her back. Checked on Website for Centrelink head office completely different number from the one given by her. Need to be careful as they are doing ROBO in same manner as centrelink

Called & no-one spoke. Then ‘robo’ saying goodbye. (Robocall) reported by Fred

Do not answer this call. I answered as number looked legit. It came up with Sydney and I just said ‘hello’ waited for someone to speak. No-one did and then a ‘robo’ said goodbye and the phone disconnected. Call lasted 11 seconds.
