NSW phone number. Wanting a donation $20 For Fund raising for Australian Childhood Association. Children of domestic violence. I have caller ID, she wanted my credit card details. I said where is your headquarters so I would be able to drop the donation off. She told me the headquarters is in Melbourne and she then wanted me to hang on so I could be put through to her supervisor. She was talking over me continuously and carried on trying to pass me to her supervisor. I then mentioned to him, the previous person said she was in Melbourne, so why is your number reading you are in NSW. He had no answer, so I said “don’t call me again”

Supposedly Australian Childhood Foundation, usually hangs up after answer without saying anything, today(24/4/19) got woman(sounds australian) wanting me to donate to above, when I said no she tried the same question 5 different ways, eventually gave up.

Said it's for saving a child charity. But refused to give details of the company. Sounds like a new way of getting phone numbers as fundraising companies are exempted to call even though you have your number registered in do not call register? Or that’s what they said. Have to check if this is true.
