this number has come up on my telstra bill, and I didnt ring them (Unsolicited call) reported by


In a conversation with Telstra regarding my mobile account, and this number has appeared on my bill saying that I rang them on 20/2/18. I have no voice at all and am not able to make phone calls, so how can this come into my account. ? I am very unhappy about this but have been told that there is nothing that I can do about it.

I tried to change my phone/data plan online, but was given the run around. Dodo sent a text and asked me to call, but my phone blocked the outgoing call. I then found another number for Dodo and texte back about the online problems. They changed the plan for me immediately and now I get these "follow-up calls" that just annoy me when I am working. I refuse to answer any unknown calls until 'Should I answer' gives the all clear.

I called Dodo to discuss nbn plans and decided to us another company based on the information provided the man I talked who to talked none stop and made it sound like if I didn't sign up with them right then I would have to pay extra fees and that I might not even be able to get a connection later, I decided to use another company and told the man that he then got really agritavted and kept demanding that he was ofdering the best deal and I was forced to hang up on him as he refused to acknowledge that I was attempting to end the conversation. Once I hung up the calls from 0283853629 started immediately I answered the first time and the same man was on the phone and was trying to rather forcefully convince me to sign up with him, I hung up and did not answer the phone again he left one voicemail with nothing but 7 seconds of heavy breathing and even sent me a text saying I had signed up with dodo AMD would receive more information. Needless to say will not be using or recommending dodo to anyone.

They called claiming to be from Dodo, but normal people or employees would introduce themselves and the organization they're working for and this guy didn't. He tried to sell some NBN service to me even though I refused and turned down the offer more than 4 times and when I kept saying 'NO' the tone of his voice changed as if he were mad and then I hung up. Moral of the story is that this number and these people are scams, don't trust it and don't answer it.
