scammers trying to get your details. Don't fill out any online survey that asks what your interests are or what charity you might donate to as all that information is then sold on. Government should make it illegal.

Alctel fund raising solutions - when you try to answer the call it drops out. When you ring back to goes to a voicemail requesting that you leave a message. I get this call 3 times a day for the last 3 weeks!

Received a call saying that my regular donations to Sydney Children's Hospital had defaulted and could they check the card details. Asked them to call back, which they did. In the meantime I had checked my statements and could see payments were continuing to go through. I advised them of this. Scam? or just someone working off old data and looking for new donations? Hard to tell but be careful.

I had a missed call from 02 837 90139 on my phone. When I called the number back the recorded message was from "Autel" or "Ortel" who seek donations on behalf of registered charities.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range 2837901xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already - Pretending to be UNSW, calling on behalf of Vice Chancellor. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?
