Medibank Insurance scam (Telemarketer) reported by GemD
Missed call. When I called back, they said they were from Medibank Insurance. They asked for my name, address and date of birth. Did not give details and asked them for a reference number as they had previously called me and I had previously spoken to Medibank about the call who suggested that I get a reference number next time. Guy went to talk to supervisor. when he came back, he said that unless I gave him my details, he couldn't look up details and they don't have reference numbers to give. Highly suss!!!!

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 2841383xx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with Medibank Insurance - was checking it at https://www.medibank.com.au/health-insurance/ - this number is not there so hard to say. People did they call you with something new, new scope?
