I won a TRIP TO FLORIDA and scammer wanted my personal details. (Scam call) reported by


So, I won a TRIP TO FLORIDA!! I missed the call, But on calling back, the scammer answered my call immediately, within a second, mentioning my first name and date of birth. So they are probably using a decent call management system and have a whole lot of info out there about us. Her accent was that of a Pinoy. She wanted my partner to come on the phone and get some details. When she realised that the bluff was called, she abruptly canned the conversation, said good bye and hung up.

Told me they were from Universal Studios apparently I had entered a competition and won a holiday to Florida but i had to pay a Registration Fee, details they 'held' for me were incorrect. Very pushy for bank details. Reading from a script sounding very fake and wouldn't answer questions.
