SCAM PHONE CALL (Scam call) reported by jO ANNE
i HAD A PHONE CALL FROM A SOMEONE WHO SAID THEY WERE FROM ANZ BANK. IS IT A GOOD TIME TO TALK NOW. I SAID NO NOT REALLY IS THERE A PROBLEM. THEY SAID YES SO I PUT MY HUSBAND ON AND HE SAID THE SAME THEN THEY HUNG UP AND WE KNOW FULL WELL THERE IS NOT A PROBLEM. THIS NUMBER WAS FROM 02 WHICH IS SYDNEY AND OUR BUSINESS IS NOT IN SYDNEY. IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM WHERE WE LIVE WOULD OF CONTACTED US. YES IT WAS ONE OF THESE NUMBERS YOU HAVE LISTED ENDING WITH 404

Representing or on behalf of ANZ? (Telemarketer) reported by Jack
I received a call from this number today and at first it sounded as if the caller was trying to claim she is from ANZ, she then asked about something I should have received in the post which was to do with insurance I believe. I told her that I do not recall receiving what ever she was talking about and she then asked for my email address which I know ANZ have and I told her it is the same as the one on file. Seemed that if ANZ were involved somehow all they had passed to these clowns was my phone number. I lastly stated "Can I just say you sound like an extremely dodgy representative of ANZ" to which she claimed I am calling on behalf of ANZ, I then said "okay well thanks for the call" and hung up... As if I am going to pass on my email address to someone claiming to be calling on behalf of my when I know my bank have my email address. WTF ANZ?
