Do not give these people any of your personal information! The person on the other end of the phone claimed to be from People's Choice, said that I had entered a Bunnings competition some months ago, I did not remember entering this (I don't tend to enter many competitions). She says she understands that would be easy to forget. She then proceeds to tell me my first and last name, she checks my address and recalls a suburb and post code where I lived over a year ago but refuse to give her my postal address PO Box. I reluctantly give her my new address, then she tells me who my energy company is....she then confirms my mobile number and asks if I have a landline, I don't, I decline to give her my birthday when she asks (as if I had submitted a competition I would have already declared this) so I advise her I wish to cancel the 'form' and do not wish to proceed. I realised earlier in the call, if I had indeed entered the competition, they would have the adequate informations so If you enter a competition they shouldn't need all this information again.
