Pretend to be Telstra - they are total scammers (Scam call) reported by


12 call in 3 weeks from this number. Sometimes it just says an automated "goodbye". Other times they pretend to be from Telstra. Told them to get a real job with honest pay and they will make more money - they hung up! How dare they keep calling me and not take my good advice ;) I have now blocked the number so my phone doesn't ring but it still shows the number has tried calling each day since.

Transfer of Telephone Plans (Scam call) reported by


A company called Telecomm calls at least once a day to try and tell me that my current (Optus) plan is changing as of next month and wanted my personal details for a smooth transfer of plans - they knew my full name and address and requested confirmation of my DOB - I hung up as i wasn't comfortable giving that info -- called Optus and they are no way associated with the company. I have asked them repeatedly to take me off there calling list but they keep calling - next time i'm calling the police
