Opened with 'Hello Aaron'(not my name). Said they were Nancy. Woman spoke with an Indian accent. Claimed they were the manager when asked.

Said was from NBN about my internet being hacked (Scam call) reported by Miriam

Caller said he was from NBN and that my internet was being hacked. Directed me to do a search then asked me to download an app on my phone to connect with NBN. When I questioned whether this was legit, he provided me with a name and ID from NBN - Robert Wilson. Robert had a rather thick Indian accent so that certainly didn't assist. I then said I would call back, he tried to dissuade me from this saying it was urgent we fix the hacking situation & if I hung up then called back it would 2-3 business days until they got back to me. I said I'd take that risk. He gave me a phone number to call but I said I would call the general NBN number directly and that I though this was a scam then he hung up.

NBN offer of free upgrade to fibre (Scam call) reported by Steve

I suspected a scam because I did not recognise the number and there was a delay between me saying hello and the call connecting. Said he was from NBN, he offered me a free fibre upgrade because my NBN was running slow (which it wasn't). I said there's nothing wrong with my NBN and then he told me to f*** off.

MasterCard fraud scam (Scam call) reported by Justin

Called pretending to be from MasterCard fraud team concerned about a $2K fraudulent transaction on my card. They wanted me to go to a website and log in with my bank details to "connect to the bank server" and stop the payment.
