Guy with Irish accident claiming I'd been in a car accident. (Scam call) reported by


Multiple missed calls from this number last few weeks. I'd tried to call back but number wouldn't connect. Finally picked up today and there was a guy with an Irish accent who said I'd been in a car accident, which I hadn't. Felt dodgy. Shortly after had a missed call from another number 0281041002.

Ask if I was involve in car accident last 12 months in which I wasn't at fault. When I asked which insurance company are they representing they could only tell me there are thousands that they represent so couldn't name my specific one that I'm with.I told them I'm not giving out any info. I was threaten with more phone calls if I don't give them the info needed for them to close out my case.I hung up. The next day, got another call at the same time, around 3pm.
