Claims to offer exclusive mariott membership (Scam call) reported by Barney
Lady claims to offer a special exclusive membership for select customers. I said please send me details to look at in my own time. She then says it would not be possible as offer is exclusive. Makes no sense for a world wide chain to not have some sort of material to support their supposedly very exclusive membership.

An Indian lady said I had used Sheraton service before, but I said I couldn’t remember. Then, she hang up. This is a great excuse for such scam call LOL

A polite lady asking me to renew my marriott membership. but i never had a marriott membership, but i need to check to make sure. so said - i am busy right now sorry maybe i talk to you another time. i check and i was never a member. i have since blocked the number but it keeps on getting calls from it.

They pretend to be calling from Marriott/SPG asking to re-join the membership, but as soon as I told them NO because I know there's massive data breach from Marriott, they immediately hung up. No proper Marriott/SPG would hung up customer call like that.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range 290991xxx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?
