Calls my mobile phone every Friday morning, but I do not answer any call from numbers that are not in my phone directory. When I googled the caller's number and got directed to this website, I decided to block the caller's number to avoid any more attempts to call my number again.

British accent, claimed to be from eSure and was calling from a Sydney number. ESure doesn't even seem to operate here!? He was rude when he knew he wasn't going to get anywhere with me. I called the number back and someone actually picked up (Indian accent this time) and said eSure again. I'm guessing this is a new front to try and stop the number being blocked. Keep reporting them with the Do Not Call register folks.

They gave me a single ring and when i call back, it just drops out. apparently some bot is trying to see who is engaging with random phone calls so they can start selling something. most likely a outbound call center selling some snake oil.

Exactly this! I told him I've been called about this many times and asked that he remove my number. Then he stated "any thing for you love" and then "anything for you, we have a long history". What a jerk. Scum*ags alright.

Just got a call today from an English guy, sounded quite nice when I said I was not the person who they were asking for. I have had a lot of calls beforehand and usually no-one answered and I was suss. Beware of this number.
