Person (Indian) calls up about "the car accident we had w/in last 2 years" He has no details and is fishing for us to provide personal information. When none was provided he hung up.

"car accident compensation" call (Scam call) reported by Amysee
Bunch of people saying that you have been in a car accident (I haven't!) and they can "get" you compensation if you give them your personal details (whoops!) This is a scam because they will not (or can't) provide you with the "accident details," will not give an ABN number (a telling sign that they are not real) and call about 30 times in a day, often 3 different people at exactly the same time- professional companies do NOT pester people in this way!! I also do not think that they are calling from Australia- all the callers were foreign and could barely speak English- I think they rout their calls from overseas through to an Australian number so people are less likely to get suspicious. When asked to see their website they couldn't decide if they were "AAMI" or "AIM" or "The Australian Compensation Helpline"- If you look up Google it says on these websites that they are being targeted by scammers and please do not give any details to the people on calls of this nature!!

"Car accident" scam (Scam call) reported by Frank
Person (Indian) calls up about "the car accident we had" He has no details and is fishing for us to provide personal information. When none was provided he hung up. Said his name was "Shawn" but that is probably fake too.

Someone report a car accident from this phone number (Scam call) reported by Erin
Indian male caller stating that someone called from the number they were calling reporting a car accident. They have also called my place of employment, which I a hospital stating the same.
