Got a phone call that I missed from this number saying that I had a warrant out for my arrest and to press “1” for more info, scared me half to death before I seen that it has happened to a few people.

a lady with Indian accent saying she's from Telstra and needs to do NBN speed testing, she asked me to go to the modem and tell her what lights are flashing, I said I don't have time now so she said she'll call back later. she's called me 3 times since then every time with a different number. I contacted TPG and was told to ignore and block the numbers.

This number left a voice message but it was just background noise of a call centre. They didn't leave me an actual message. This is a regular event from similar numbers.

Said someone trying to make a $1000 payment to Canada from my Visa - I said out loud to my partner, hey can you record this call for me, and asked them what Visa account they were trying. They hung up. It was a scam as I don’t have a credit card!

They said the same thing to me, I didn’t get to answer but they left a voice mail more or less saying there was a warrant out for my arrest and I had to appear in court and to press “1” for more info, I had just woken up so it left me on edge wondering what I could have done wrong, thankfully it’s just a scam haha.
