Irish caller saying I'd been in a car accident in the past 12 months, I don't drive so I laughed at him, he continued to insist he was there to help me.

cAR ACCIDENT SCAM (Scam call) reported by CJ
The caller had an Irish accent and said he was calling about my car accident in the past 12 months. I said, "okay" even though I haven't had any accidents for 20 years. He then wanted me to give my full name which I told him he would already have, but he insisted I give it again. I hung up the call.

I answered the call, there was clearly someone on the other end and background noise, however they did not speak when I answered and then said hello twice after that. The call was then terminated. I called the number back, received an automated message that I could not understand, the call was disconnected.
