They called me 15 times in a matter of 24 hrs. Eventually they left a message. They didn't identify themselves and all it said is "Please contact us" in a scolding voice, then started to speak in all different languages.

If you have a negative balance in your paypal and this number calls you, it is paypal. To confirm make them state the exact amount you are in the red for in your paypal and confirm you will pay it through the app to be safe. Easy. Not a scam.

paypal, automatic call when you have a negative balance on your PayPal account., Paypal call not a scam number, I read the other positive comments and decided to call number. i got a woman with an American accent on the line so i was a bit dubious at first when she asked for my name and phone number but she was able to tell me how much I was in negative balance on my account. I then rang paypal through the app and they confirmed thry had got my call so not a Scam.

As mentioned previously, it is PayPal. I was in the minus of money in my PayPal account. They were able to tell me how much I owed and all my personal information. The amount given is the exact amount I owed to PayPal. After topping up my account through the phone app I no longer receive calls from this number.

Asked for someone (who i don't know), I asked where she was calling from because i have had over 10 missed calls from the same number in the past 4 days, but she refused to say. she just said "never mind i'll just take you off our mailing list" then hung up.

Can 100% guarantee this is NOT from PayPal!!!! I contacted the real PayPal and they confirmed this is not from them. Do not give these scammers any of your information. Block this number. Do not fall for this scam. I’m sorry but the people here writing this is genuine, have either stupidity given their info to these fakes or are the actual scammers and are trying to make this number look legit. PayPal confirmed they do not call from Australian numbers if they contact customers. Don’t fall for it.

Sydney number that calls every single day, multiple times a day.... it's driving me insane. My number is registered on "Do Not Call" registry so it's very frustrating to be getting these annoying calls. Sometimes I answer and it just instantly ends the call. Or if I ignore the call they never leave a voicemail. I've blocked these Sydney numbers but then I just start getting a new Sydney number calling through. Their plan is that you call the number back of which an overseas call centre advises you that you have a negative PayPal balance and then ask for your bank details to pay it off.

Several missed calls in a matter of an hour, that is just today, Have been having missed calls from this number multiple times a day also with not 1 voicemail left, If it were a serious matter or a professional business related call - messages are always left. Called back to get American operators asking to make a missed payment over the phone, If it were really PayPal, my bank account details and both credit cards are attached to my PayPal account, therefore there would be no reason to seek a random payment from me as all of my paypal payments are automated.
