This ended up being eBay customer service who were contacting me about a sneaker authentication issue with a pair of sneakers I bought. This was legit as they left me a VM and emailed me as well as messaged me in the ebay app. As this number is an outbound caller id, it could probably be anyone who works at Ebay AU.

After a live chat with eBay, I am assured that eBay will only contact you via messages in your eBay account. They will NEVER call your number or send you a direct email… they ALWAYS make contact through your account ONLY. Hung up and blocked them.
