Seems to be a scam call. Claimed to be from Bupa but after contacting Bupa they advised no call was made. The calls started after signing up with Bupa.

I recently signed up to Bupa for health insurance. I received an SMS message and online login details (that's fine.). A day later I received this call and was asked to confirm my details. I said they already had my details as I needed to provide them to get the insurance, and I can update my details online. They immediately hung up on me.

The lady stated she was from Bupa , and yes I recently swapped my insurer. However she wanted me to confirm my identity by providing my name DOB and address. I hung up as I felt that was a bit strange, given they are calling me. Not sure about this number..

People told me that they need to update my BUPA insurance detail (Scam call) reported by Angie

The lady on the call told me that they need to update my BUPA insurance detail on the website. I told her I have access to the website so I can update myself. She then hang up. The second call is from another lady, asking me to give her detail so she can update my new insurance. I said I have no new insurance, she said thank you and hang up.

When answering this call the caller seemed to automatically hang up and my phone said "call retrieved ". It rang once, a woman answered wanting to speak to someone that I know re a policy.
