He said I had bought an iphone 11 and when told I was only 16 (not age) and didn't buy one or can afford one he started to wont to know me by asking if I had a partner/boyfriend and told I don't (not true) he then started to say "I am your boyfriend and that he loves me" by this stage he is creeping me out so I told him that then hung up and blocked the number

I checked my Amazon account while on the call... I had no suspicious activity. I then searched the number and found this thread (below). Complete SCAM. I had the same issue. Caller (from India) claimed I had suspicious activity on my Amazon account. No record of suspicious activity when logged into Amazon.

Called me by name. Said they had found a suspicious transaction in my Bank SA account (I don't have an account). I asked what the problem was. He said there was a transaction of $872 being transferred from my bank account to Auckland. I asked what was wrong with that (playing along). He said they believed it to be fraudulent to which I replied "I don't really care" and hung up!

The gentleman introduced himself and said he was calling from Bank SA. He asked if I had authorised a payment of $2.800 to a person in the US. I asked where he was calling from and he said Bank SA in King William St. I asked for his name again and he hung up. I don't bank with Bank SA and the number was from Melbourne not Adelaide as stated.

A guy called from this number and asked whether I authorised a transaction in Commonwealth bank for the amount of $800, I asked the detail of the transaction, he hang up! I never bank with Commonwealth so don't know what he is talking about. Sound like maybe he is fishing for bank account detail.

A female said they were from NBN and I had a problem with my connection. It would be disconnected in 4 hours. When questioned about her address gave it as 2 Park St Sydney. Then requested my supplier, her reply was Telstra. This is not my supplier.

The woman didnt seem really confident, she was surprised that I was playing along, she was almost waiting for me to object, after a bit she eventually hung up on me. They've just called back, and I've ignored it.

Called and straight away went into saying that she is from NBN and they see that third party is using my internet so she needs to check it, then she asked if I have a laptop. When prompted once again to tell me from where she is calling, lady lost her voice and started stammering. I told her that she is trying to scam me, she hang up.
