this number phones me 4 times a night 730-830pm, if I answer, it hangs up, when I phone back I get hung up on. No melbourne, vic (03) number starts with 7 .. so its fake number. i blocked it, but it keep coming through, so must be number with malware attached that inserts on your phone if you answer it/phone a missed call number ...... BLOCK BLOCK, dont respond, spyware attached

After personal financial info for "government". Doubtful (Financial services) reported by


COLLECTING PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION under the disguise of a survey. Automated questionnaire, stated that it was a survey for govt. to see how much the public were being impacted by Covid19. then went on to ask very personal information about my mortgage, interest rate, housing, retirement etc. I feel this information is more likely to be used for financial profiling to sell personal info to financial bodies/brokers/insurance agents/financial advisers etc. No details about privacy given - this is a big red flag as a real govt. survey or other legit. survey details this stuff.

"Jasmine from Advanced Melbourne, conducting survey to see how people were coping financially with Covid-19. Are you under or over 58?" I thought it was a real person but realised it was recorded, when I asked who Melbourne Advanced were. The call was ended abruptly when I kept asking about the company.

They said they were calling from an organisation called Advance Australia and that they were doing research study into how Victorians were coping during the stage 4 lockdown and that if I pasrticpate I will go into a draw to win $1500. I didn't say anything but I held on. They said forst we need to know if you are older than 58 or younger than 58. I waited a few seconds and then I asked who is Advance Australia. They stayed on for about another 5 seconds and then without answering they hung up
