Cold call trying to say it was Telstra. Asked Greg for employee identification number and advised that I would call Telstra myself and check it out before giving out any of my personal information. Tell them to send an email instead but don't give them your email address- because they should already know that.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Telstra (check them at https://www.telstra.com.au), but tis is just a call centre working for them, so after few days the same number can call you with different offers...
