Told me my call would be recorded for training purposes then followed with questions to see what internet plan I was on including 'am I currently on a NBN plan?'. Seemed redundant...

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 03837070xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already - mostly as a telemarketing or survey for Voice Talk - check them here : http://voicetalk.com.au/ - their contact number is 1300 882 172. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?

Yes answered it, and they did try and scam us!!
