SCAM SCAM (Scam call) reported by Joe

The person on the phone said they were a comparison company and were wanting me to sign up with "ALINTA energy".The scammer, (after a hard sell that wouldn't take no for an answer) put me onto someone "from ALINTA" who tried to get my personel information to prove I am me. He asked for my passport details or drivers liecence to prove to him I am me. I was told that they had my credit card details up on their computer as is normal they said but asked me to repeat them to him so I could identify myself. THIS IS A SCAM do not give them any details. The company ALINTA has nothing to do with this, they don't know that their name is being used.

Four different numbers called, one after another claiming they were from same company. The numbers were: 0383724099, 0408 594 980, 0416 886 066, 0421 055 156. All asking same questions about my personal ID details. I asked how my bill was to be paid they said they will send bill out. They stated motum will be sent out between 3 - 10days due to covid. I rang the mobile a lady who couldn't speak English answered and it was a guy that called previously. Im afraid that they are using my personal details. I called landline won't answer or return my call
