This number is a SCAM. It rang my PRIVATE SILENT home number today. SHAME on Telstra for doing absolutely NOTHING about the 30+ SCAM phone numbers (never the same number!) calling me DAILY. Telstra = over a BILLION DOLLAR profit and they claim they can't do a damn thing!!! There was a few seconds pause at the start and what sounded like noises of an overseas call centre, such as fingers tapping the keyboard and foreigners chatting/laughing in the background. I suspected straight away it was SCAM. I said, 'Hello' and then I heard an INDIAN male voice say, 'Can you hear me?'. I was so tempted to swear my guts out at the thieving prick, but he instantly hung up on me!!!

Got this number AGAIN today. This time it hung up just as I picked up. FK YOU, TELSTRA.... for refusing to remove these numbers from the national phone system.

A lot of these numbers are Skype numbers, and the scammers change them regularly, hence the difficulty Telstra, or any service provider has stopping them. I called this number (03) 8373 86xx, multiple times and shut it down for good, at least by these scammers. They also use the number (03) 9133 65xx. I got their website shut down too. Their website said they were located in Sydney with a Victorian area code, and also located in London, UK. They are Philippino scammers.

Received several calls from this number over a few days. As with all I don't recognise, I let it go to message bank and they never leave a message, so I can only assume they're up to no good. Have now blocked the number and judging by other comments here, it was a wise move.

I get hundreds of emails with this number in it. The emails always espouse Indians are the only trustworthy people to employ and all others are either criminals, pedophiles or terrorists, in particular white Australians, Chinese, Italians, and Muslims. I have made several complaints to the Federal Police, as the last email was trying to incite hatred. BE VERY CONCERNED IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.
