I had a call the other day from this number, the operator spoke very fast and there was a lot of background noise. Asked a lot of personal details without really giving me evidence of who he was. They are from this company peakbound.com.au authorized to speak for ANZ.

I usually ignore calls from these sort of numbers point blank and go straight to google to see who called, but not many hits on this number yet and I am actually waiting for a personal bank loan approval at this point in time. So I called back and my suspicions were confirmed. Sure enough, yet another annoying call centre marketer advising that they called because I bank with (insert bank name here) and are calling to offer a new credit card. Probably the same pricks that have been calling me endlessly from either 02 8316 4610 and 02 8069 5147 since the 23rd of November.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported (https://au.shouldianswer.net/phone-number/0385922503, https://au.shouldianswer.net/phone-number/0385922500), all the same range just with last digits different, which common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope (ANZ - https://www.anz.com.au/personal/ or another bank institution), but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. People did someone answer this number?

Got a call from Jason, said he was from ANZ and wanted to sell ANZ Life Insurance. So far thats all I know ... really was not interested in what he was selling.
