Recorded call: Unknown matter (?) going to court if no call back (Scam call) reported by Ernie

I didn't hear first part of call, so don't know what it was all about. What I did hear was a serious threat of court action if I didn't call back. Number to call repeated twice. I DID NOT CALL BACK! SO NOW I AM WAITING FOR THE POLICE TO COME KNOCKING ON MY DOOR! (I am shaking in my boots.) I have no idea what this is all about! I WILL NOT CALL BACK! BEWARE!

Arrest Warrent Threat (Scam call) reported by Sui

I called the number back and it had an answering machine service that didn't mention where it was. I left the number they called and notified them that their number was going to be reported as they left no name or details of the arrest warrant. I advised them that if there was such a warrant on my name to go through official channels otherwise they will be ignored. I have not heard any reply from them or any official source since doing this.

Didn't address me with my name. Didn't tell me why they want to arrest me. The number was from Melbourne but I live in WA. The man had an Indian accent.

I left call go to answering machine. The male voice sounded very official. Didn't say where he was calling from but that we had unpaid taxes and fraudulent fees to pay, and to call back on this phone no. and not ignore doing so or they would be pursuing payment via the court system.

According to the recorded voice, the ATO is about to request a warrant for tax avoidance and tax fraud against me; then ended the message with "Have a blessed day".

Called my work number at 8:23am and it was like part of the beginning of the message was cut off but it said the same thing to me as it did Kay and told me to call them back before matters escalated. Scammer!
