I had a missed call from a Alex saying he was calling from "Select Careers" regarding a position I had applied for. Very unprofessional wastes your time for about 10 minutes asking questions then say that I don't have the right skills and qualifactions and they have choose someone else. Then ask if they can keep information on file. No thank you!

These guys are the reason why I no longer apply for any positions advertised through agencies. Actually hilarious that I just received another phone call from them regarding a position I applied for through them....that I knew straight away I hadn't applied for any agency jobs. They were posing as 'select careers'

Had a call from this number this afternoon claiming I applied for a role that their agency had on Seek. Then proceeded to tell me that they chose someone else for the role. Why bother calling me anyway. They then asked if they could keep my details on file. I had my doubts about the number when I saw it come up - I'm in NSW - why would an agency in Victoria be calling me.

I had the exact same call this morning. Wouldn't tell me which position it was I had applied for as they could not release information. Asked me all these questions then said unfortunately they had choose a different candidate. Why bother even ringing me! Waste of time.

Pretends to give you an interview over the phone for a prospective job then proceeds to tell you the position is full and the only reason you didn't get it was because you didn't have a degree from one of the courses they offer. They waste your time and are not upfront about the reason they're actually calling.

Well, all the numbers from the same range 03860990xx seem to be used for the same call centre callign with offers of overpriced courses to jobseekers - they pretend to have some job offers and education courses for it... Double-check the info first, don't fall for it without knowing EXACTLY what is the price.
