They call saying " its james from select career ( maybe someone else ) calling in regards to a job you applied for in administration and reception and also wondering if you are still looking for work, please call me back on 03 8609 9097 or ill try you again tomorrow." very miss leading and frustrating to say the least as there is no job here it is a scam to sell you rubbish that will not guarantee you a job anywhere.

Is a telemarketer claiming to be calling in regards to job. Will do a slimy sales pitch exaggerating your worth to them (this is quite funny, actually). Is all a ploy to sell third rate business and admin courses. Ignore unless you want to waste both yours and their time.

call centre that try to sell training courses and employment services. They fish for numbers by posting phoney or misleading job postings on career websites like seek. They try to use scare tactics to get you to agree like how bad the job market is or that your current level of education is not enough to stand up in the working world. Block them because they will keep calling

Spot on. They are just trying to flog over-priced courses and leave you with the HELP debt. They tend to go very quiet when you ask the following types of questions:- -How did you get my name and contact details? -What was the website and the reference number or exact title of the job advertisement that this call relates to? -Is your company or its owners in any way affiliated this "education" provider? -Does your company or its owners get any commission for enrolling me in these courses you recommend? p.s 0385479015 was what "select careers" called us from.

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling? Similar number is reported as "Academy HR" - no idea what is it, they left no message.
