Being called on 0386115160, about benefit maximisation and proposed AGL internet - basically a marketing call. After this call, I contacted AGL straightaway about the call whether this phone no. is AGL legitimate one. A AGL Resolution team representative confirmed that this 0386115160 is AGL phone number, quote "It is the number of one of our agents making an outbound call."

Kept stalling to avoid questions like what’s our account number, our address which they supplied after a while; may have searched and found on line. Had an vague response and felt very suss. I looked up 03 number and even though informed her that it posted as negative still kept asking for my details. When I asked where are you calling from, eventually told us they are from Manila call centre.

This person called claiming to be from AGL, they knew my name, and asked me if I had gas connected at my property. I have my electricity through them so think that they ought to already know this info, which is why I feel like this was some kind of scam call gathering data or something... but, they knew my name -_- i dont know.

To all the people giving this a negative review, I TRULY HOPE YOUR SERVICES GETS DISCONNECTED #KARMA They ARE NOT SELLING YOU ANYTGING! This is AGL CALLING TO REMIND YOU TO PAY YOUR BILL Yes, it's a robocall as it's activated when you haven't paid your bill by the due date. It asks you to contact AGL to discuss options. If it wss a telemarketer, they wouldn't leave a message or text. I have less than 60% hearing in both years and can clearly hear the KIND MALE ROBOCALL. The recording isn't spoken overly fast. It's clear and concise. Even when I'm not wearing my hearing aides I can make out what is said. It is NOT a telemarketer. People complaining about them calling "3 times in the last week" / "won't stop calling" - that's your OWN FAULT. pay your bill you bogan! And you won't get the robocall!!

It's an upsell service, I literally just got off the phone with them then searched the number. An actual human asked if I used gas in my house or that I had other properties I wanted to connect. No to both. I pay my bills via bill smoothing so no overdue bills here.

This is the 3rd call in the past week they have called me even after I told them not to call me. I have gas w8th them & now they want my electricity but after this experience I am changing supppiers.

So because you haven't paid your AGL BILL. YOU DECIDED TO COME ONLINE AND SPREAD SLANDER. Do you realise that slandering is illegal and you can be sued. If you ACTUALLY answered you'd know that it was a ROBOCALL about your overdue bill. It WAS NOT A TELEMARKETING CALL upselling you. Lying won't save you. I doubt very much AGL would not mind if yoy try to change your service provider. And you won't be able to get another provider because when you don't pay your electricity it goes on your credit record. Stop lying and slandering a company who is trying to help you pay your bills.

I missed multiple calls from this number. It is from agl, but i checked and my account isn't in arrears. However, as it turns out, they were trying to sell me gas on a property that isnt connected to natural gas?!

Dont believe the person stating it's a bill reminder. It's AGL's sales number. I called and advised if they didn't stop upselling me, I will take my business to their competitors. Call the number back and let them know to remove your number from their sales database. They are just people trying to make a living but you dont have to put up with it. One call is all it takes.
