I didn't answer due to the negative rating but I actually like AGL & have just switched back from Alinta to be with them as they matched Alinta's offer. What **** me is that these companies - and they ALL do it, not just AGL - only give you a better deal when someone else tries to steal you from them. ????

They rang to offer me a better deal to stay with them when I only changed my electricity to Linton but I cancelled that contract because they grey out how many kilwats u use I did not like that so I cancelled the contract

We recently switched from AGL to Origin and the caller was trying to 'win us back'. I told them I had made my decision and was not interested in discussing it further. They have since rung twice more, most recently, they didn't answer and the call was open for 20 seconds with me saying: "Hello". I have now blocked the number.

I moved from AGL to a different supplie on 26/4 - that was the 'Meter reading - final for AGL - necessary before the cutover could be effected. Classic 'outbound' marketing - Dials - Leaves no message - hangs up. I the number is called back, a record message advises that the number is "AGL 24 Hours" . I reported this to Customer Solutions and was told calls should cease now. Lat couple of days when I called then number I was told "Oz College" - Aaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhh!

Wanted to verify that I had contacted them advising that I was switching to another provider. This was not true and they then proceeded to offer me a 19% discount on my gas usage if I stayed with them signed their email giving them permission. They (Cathy) said I was not locked in and could leave at any time and not have to pay an exit fee. Cathy phoned me again on a private number and was upset that I had not signed anything.
